Backpack Blessings was formed for the sole purpose of feeding hungry children in eastern North Carolina. Our goal is to stand in the gap between kids and hunger whenever they are away from the safety net of the Child Nutrition Programs in their schools.

Backpack Blessings currently serves over 950 children in our 3 county area, but we are not stopping there!

Every child we serve receives a weekend food bag each Friday of the school year. Food boxes are made available in the summer, and ready-to-cook holiday meals are provided for all Backpack Blessing families in December.

Hunger doesn't stop on the weekends, and neither does Jesus' love for his children.
